iTunes 11 Delayed into ‘End of November’ ➝

Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr in a statement to CNET:

The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right. We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November.

I guess they’ve grown tired of releasing “unfinished” software.

Apple Ends TV Rentals ➝

iTunes customers have shown they overwhelmingly prefer buying TV shows.

I preferred purchasing TV shows to renting as well, but only because the majority of television shows that I wanted to watch weren’t even available to rent. It’s hard to succeed with a TV show rental service when you only have content from two media companies.
