I recently switched from Nord VPN to Proton VPN and have been very happy so far. Proton’s VPN is more affordable than Nord’s and they have a superior Linux client and support port forwarding as well, which is a huge win.
The Proton VPN app lacks widget support on iOS, but it’s easy enough to utilize the app’s Shortcuts support to build my own for core functions.
