iCloud.com is the web-based portal for many of the apps built into OS X and iOS. A new feature provides a way for iCloud users to recover deleted files, contacts, calendars and reminders from iCloud on the web, making the service even more useful.
It’s like Time Machine for iCloud.
A great guide by Dennis Sellers who recently joined the Apple World Today team. My fiancée’s sister had problems with unwanted pop-up ads on her iMac a few weeks ago and I had to walk her through these steps over the phone. It would have been much easier to send her a link to this guide rather than fumbling my way through Safari’s preferences — an interface which I rarely interact with.

Now, for just US$99 per year, developers get access to beta releases and SDKs for OS X, iOS and watchOS. For those of us who used to spend $198 annually to maintain both dev accounts, this is a welcome piece of news.
Alongside this change, developers can no longer build Safari extensions for free. Unfortunately, a paid developer account is now required.
