I held off until after I finished my HomePod Review to play Snowman’s much anticipated sequel to Alto’s Adventure. It was a wise move on my part. If I started playing before publishing the review, I might never have finished it — the game is that good.

Alto’s Odyssey is $4.99 and runs on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad as a universal binary. I’ve only played it on Apple TV so far, but I think it will eventually find its way onto my iPhone as well. I don’t typically install games on my iPhone — the last one I had installed was Threes! — all I want to do is bounce off hot air balloons and wall ride over chasms.
