Application discoverability was another common complaint about the new Apple TV that ended up on the cutting room floor when I was writing my piece about the press’ reaction to the Apple TV. The addition of categories in the App Store will go a long way toward improving that aspect of the user experience. Rest assured, the software developers at Apple are diligently working to fix all of the other minor annoyances that we’ve spent the past week reading and ranting about. We’ll soon have that “well-crafted software platform” that we were hoping for.
