MacRumors has received a set of images that the sender claims to be the retail packaging and disc for Snow Leopard. If these claims are true it means that Snow Leopard is already in mass production and should be hitting store shelves shortly, maybe even on the much rumored August 28.
Although the packaging and disc design aren’t in line with what Apple has been using in their marketing material for Snow Leopard, the design is in line with the installer icon for the latest build of Snow Leopard (10A432), which was the first build to feature the updated icon.
