We all knew that Amazon was going to make a Kindle-related announcement tomorrow (May 6) but Engadget has received a tip explaining what exactly is going to be announced at the event.

The new device will have a 9.7 inch display, the current Kindle only has a 6 inch display, and it will also have a built in PDF reader.

There hasn’t been any leaks about pricing of the device but based on what I’ve seen I would suspect that it will be priced higher than the current Kindle model, let’s say $400-500.
